6K video

The same flight, cut into something people actually watch

Every booking already has the aircraft in the air. Adding video means the same flight also produces a short, usable clip, rather than paying for a second visit to get footage that could have come from the first one.

What you get

6K source footage

Shot on the same Mavic 4 Pro that shoots the stills, so a frame pulled from the video still holds up as an image in its own right.

A cut clip, not the raw file

Delivered as a short, edited clip sized for a website or a social platform, not an unedited flight recording you have to cut yourself.

Formats for web and for social

Exported at the aspect ratios and file sizes that actually work where the clip is going to be used, rather than one format for everything.

Licensed for your own use

The same licensing terms as the stills: your listing, your brochure, your website, your campaign.

Should you book it

When video earns its place

A still photograph shows a place. A slow pass over the same place, cut to fifteen or twenty seconds, shows how it feels to be there, which is a different job and often a better one for a social campaign or a venue's own website.

It tends to matter most for marketing and commercial work, a hotel, a campsite, an attraction, where movement over a coastline, a site or a set of grounds says more than any single frame can. It matters less for a straightforward property listing, where a strong set of stills usually does the whole job on its own.

It is worth booking whenever the end use is somewhere video actually gets watched, a homepage, an Instagram or Facebook feed, a video wall at a show. Where it will only ever sit unopened in a folder, it is not worth the extra editing time.

How it is shot and cut

Video is planned as part of the same flight as the stills, a small number of deliberate passes rather than continuous recording throughout, because a clip built from planned shots edits together far better than one built from whatever happened to be recorded.

Editing follows the same discipline as the stills: colour graded to match, cut to a length that suits where it is going, and delivered within the same 48 hour window as the rest of the shoot.

Mention it when you send the brief and it gets planned into the same flight as the stills, not booked as a separate visit.
